In 2015 we partnered with the Lesmurdie & Districts Community Association (LDCA) to improve the amenities at the site with the Up the Creek project. This project was sponsored by Kalamunda Rotary, the Shire of Kalamunda, Bendigo Bank, Lotterywest and the LDCA themselves.
Key achievements of this project were the construction of the Lesmurdie Brook Loop Trail, the building of three bridges with artisan designed railings, five artisan designed seats, two children’s natural bush timber climbing frames, two gravel car parks (one new and the other a major refurbishment), the construction of three shade houses and two green houses, and the creation of our Aboriginal Cultural Trail.
